Contemporary??

Gonna sound like the ol' coot I am but regardless of age had I thought to say this back in the day I'd have said it in my 20's as a follower of Jesus.

The term "contemporary" (in the present time, now culture, hip, cool -NOT ancient, out-of-date, stale, irrelevant) is interesting when you consider:

God in scripture and history is sometimes referred to as the Ancient of Days. He is Alpha and Omega-Beginning and End, is Eternal, before time as we humans conceive of it and yet He is outside of time, ageless.

This means He is always, ever, forever contemporary because He is fully complete, utterly perfect within Himself yet unchanging.

Don't be buried in time, even the present. Get to know, follow and trust the only One Who is timeless -and always contemporary.

As always, thanks for stopping by! -Glenn
