Led, Thus Sustained

The parting line in one of my morning inbox devotionals stated a full-on truth worth not only believing but sharing:

"... the Master never leads us where his grace cannot sustain us." -HC Wilson

SO good!

The key of course, is a heart and mind seeking the Lord, His will over and above our own.

Further, it's about getting reasonable confirmation before we make (especially) major moves that will impact not only ourselves but others. What I refer to as "reasonable confirmation" is seeking God's will in prayer, study of His Word on applicable issues, godly counsel from people who know Jesus and really know you, at times dreams/visions and prophetic input and common sense regarding doors opening and closing with regard to your mission re. helping others in need. The larger and more far-reaching the decision the more I seek His confirmation, not merely "Cool, that sounds like fun!" and run.

IF God sends, His will for us includes equipping us to equip others, blessings to us that they might extend through us to others!

Indeed, HIS grace (unmerited favor) sustains us, creates, plants, nurtures and produces enduring fruit to His glory and people's benefit- including our own.

The One Who sends on a mission walks with the loving, obedient missionary.

As always, thanks for stopping by :) -Glenn
