You Don't KNOW

...what God may do in and -through- you in the future. Do you?

I mean, here and there a glimmer of what may come to pass, a "still small voice" and various confirmations it is (or in retrospect was) truly the voice of God in your heart like a window from heaven opening or a distant song from somewhere down the street.

Or was it a dream, a faintly recalled vision of sorts? A phrase that leaps from scripture or a little child leading with words that caught your attention, that comment somehow stirring action you had not anticipated? Perhaps a nudge that keeps happening at the most unexpected times.

I don't know if only a few get what I sometimes call 3D technicolor knocks on the door like I did and sometimes still do -or if the Spirit of God somehow writes on our wall but we're not paying attention enough to read it... or study His Word and when Jesus say "Do likewise" we just don't walk in His grace and by that grace serve Him and others as is His unfolding plan.

What I do know is "ears to hear" and then our responsive following makes a life more than worth living on this deeply scarred, needy planet. BY His un-earned, un-merited favor and calling I can say to HIS glory there have been key times in my life it's been apparent to me what to do, the gifts He gives to enable serving and people right in front of me I'm able to bless and not numbly just trudge on with my day.

ALLELUIA He is Faithful to call, gift, send and accompany us on the path of His choosing!
