Doubts and Reality

There is no doubt that 99.9 percent of "news" organizations are in business to make.money. Between algorithms and every other rubric to determine financial gain most have truly glommed on to who their key audience is and how to keep them coming back for more hits, more socials links and the rest. It's "just business". Got all this, it's rather obvious such has been the case for as long as information and "bread and circus" empires have existed. Propaganda is what it is and it does indeed make money and help bequeath power in this sinful world.

Having stated this outright- but wait, there's more! Indeed there truly is.

The current administration in Washington isn't nearly close to being the first time financial ruin and ruiners, scorched-earth chopping which directly, adversely affects the poor, the middle class and disenfranchises people in the margins of society -but when one may have thought the swamp couldn't get worse we literally ended up with reality tv (wow... what a misnomer) in charge of the nation and large swaths of the entire world. How and why?

There is NO Savior but the risen Jesus Christ and NO ONE truly Lord Who will in God's Own timing "roll the world up like a scroll". We don't get to elect the One and ONLY True God Who IS God alone, the Alpha and Omega isn't about popularity contests, finance and worldly power plays- He needs none of them to feel satisfied in Himself.

The incredible reality of God stooping as low as humans in becoming one, tempted in all points and yet without sin... for each and all... to "whoever will let them come" is so unlike the cheap tactics used moment-by-moment in this fallen world that words are not sufficient to state how loving, gracious and desirable of His sinful, needy people He truly is!

Jesus refers to Himself as "The Door". Not closed but open for "whoever comes to Me I will never cast out". (John 6.37)

Those reading who consider themselves people of God: is THAT our heart? I don't mean tacit agreement on all matters for He doesn't agree with you or myself in all things. I mean honestly, is it the mind of Christ and with more of God's heart we think, treat one another, even vote? A massive question regardless of who "wins" this side of Judgment Day... which isn't Nov. 3, 2026! Then again when we least expect Him, He'll return and that will be the end of the circus and every P.T. Barnum character seeking more, more, more and to h. with everyone who gets in the way.
