DEVOTE!

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus... -Hebrews 10.19

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. -Colossians 4.2

Consider first that Jesus has given we who trust in and cling to Him in daily relationship far beyond what we can contemplate in this life on earth. Entrance to intimate relationship with God when Jesus died for us tearing the thick chain veil to the Holy of Holies "from top to bottom" means so very much we can never comprehend all He brought us by this. The miracle of grace- sinners forgiven and enabled to experience the presence of the utterly Sinless Holy One... whew! Thus we who believe can, should and must -devote- ourselves to prayer and as it says in another place, to "pray without ceasing", a constant conversation with Father/Son/Spirit that Jesus alone made and moment-by-moment makes possible.

The biblical Greek term for "devote" is deep and wide. Please have a deeper look at it here and be BLESSED!

As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn

Look, I'm not writing out of un-confessed sin here, no conviction of such in my life in this moment, rather seeking to call us all out to a truth so liberating, so deeply transformational that... well
