And don't ALL of us struggle at times?! Yes.

So here's -part- of what I sent a longtime friend of mine recently. One of a long list of things he mentioned was holiday blues (depression) and a number of issues along with his joy in studying the Bible.

Thanksgiving should be daily from each of us toward God, that's a fact, whew!

"My Bro, I totally appreciate the update! Never hesitate to write and long as you like, I read it all, pray for you then w. a bit more clarity.

Ha, well, I don't usually quote Jerry Garcia but "What a long, strange trip it's been" fits all of us I'd say :)

Loving your digging into the Bible, I don't know of any other sure Word of God and I do think what Jesus said about -"continuing"-, "remaining", "abiding" in His Word brings healing, sanity and clarity. Surely in all things we have unanswered questions this side of heaven, we only get a glimpse of things while here but it's like we don't need light for the entire world, merely for our immediate path on which we walk.

Some of our dissatisfaction here will never leave us, and yet there's a ton to be happy about, recognizing the several daily blessings.

Prayers for you and so glad to hear from you re. all these matters! Being thankful to God daily for breathing, food, all the 5 (we're not behind actual bars) of the 6 things Jesus lists in Mt. 25 springs to mind for me, last night at Cook County Jail was so good and such a blessing to -me-, a reminder or what could have so easily been my own life, God's deliverance as I finally cooperated with Him!

Much Love, -Glenn"

I've been a huge fan of Fenelon for years and regularly read his letters to folks he was in relationship with seeking to help, encourage, warn and disciple them. I'm truly no Fenelon but am blessed to hopefully bring God's heart and at least some of His mind to others.

BLESSED Thanksgiving 2025 to you!

And as always, thanks for stopping by :) -Glenn
