Winnipeg And More

The pleasure of many years of recording, live shows and chats often equals a lot of folks coming to gigs where you have been, especially after several visits to the same area.

The beauty of last Saturday night's set at Morrow Gospel in Winnipeg was one of those for sure!

My friend Robert-Andreas and his excellent blues band was a treat, the man COOKS blues guitar. Memorable songs and great performance right through. They backed me on a set and earlier both myself and Robert brought short solo sets before going electric.

Packed room, sweet staff, great sound and lights, a long, long line of folks who came out to talk about earlier shows we did in the area and wider Manitoba, etc.. Lots of smiles, hugs and pics were had.

Honestly, I am still amazed at all God does and Robert-Andreas inviting me up proved to be a truly great weekend.

Now on to the normal and blessed routine of family, local and far beyond interactions online and more.

Tomorrow morning I'll post one more comment regarding Election Day here in the U.S..

Been playing around with creating mini-zines and hope to eventually do a website or at least page in my blog at Wix to share them digitally.

Soon will bring my pilot program of the history of the guitar, single-string music lessons with songwriting and sharing about recording, touring and the music industry at Cook County Jail here in Chicago.

Seems like forever but hope to get one of 3 fresh records finished soon, awaiting other's work and I think one small re-do on my part. We will share asap when it's finally ready to be released.

Super thankful for a 3 day retreat with my Wendi prior to Thanksgiving, What a gift of God she is to me!

As always- thanks for stopping by! -Glenn
