The End of Money and Power

I will say this as clearly as I know how.

A person whose true, actual values are money and power will utterly lose both when they die. Further, they will give account of their stewardship of these to God.

If our first and highest values are not God and others the accumulation of these two things will in the end bring us only condemnation.

To be jealous, to envy those with the most power and/or money is a fool's losing game and one sure route to living a near-continually dis-satisfied life. Note Jesus's comments to "the rich young ruler", again, His parable of the rich man "building bigger barns" for all his wealth.

Study what God's Word says about wealth and power from Genesis through the Book of Revelation for details. Whew!

"To whom much more is given, much more shall be required". God speaks reality, genuine truth- far too often the rich and powerful do not.

As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn
