So What DOES Trickle Down?

Algorithms and AI for one thing -and in my view it's perhaps the Major Thing- is all about money. Capitalism is about finances. Every advert you see or hear in every mode is about finances -yours. The bottom line IS the bottom line. Face the gut-truth of this and you begin to recognize why capitalism (versus sharing, bartering, goods for services rendered) has never been a favorite system of mine.
I honestly don't care about being labeled as liberal, progressive or socialist because none of those change what I've just written -and believed via the study of history as well as lived experience most of my long life.
Money controls politics, the military, the poor, deeply affects widows, orphans, migrants and minority peoples world-wide. Therefore the idea of "a level playing field" doesn't wash when those in control of the internet, cash, equity and actual power is all about finances so the average person has little but the vote (in some places on earth) and when that gets gerrymandered away by said political and business oligarchs you have no level playing field. It's like referees who have been paid a ton of money to throw the game to whomever paid them to do so.
In my studies of world, national and local histories from pre-teen years to the present I've arrived at these conclusions. Thus far in all my studies, listening and conversations I've heard no convincing argument that all the above is not the reality in which we live.
I've NEVER agreed with communism as early on until now (2026) it's about dictatorship done with other surface (and that's all they are) "principles" -which, as per capitalism and oligarchy in such regimes, control the political powers, military and laws of those living under them.
True freedom as I understand it is only found in a personal, then shared relationship with my Lord and risen Savior Jesus Christ. What we call political "freedom" is as askance and manipulate-able by money and those with the most and thus political clout as it has always been. And that, my friends, is history.
I don't see this truly changing until Jesus returns, and then it'll all be -finished-!
Scripture is loaded with directives of how to live in pagan society -as well as in churches as vulnerable to financial manipulation as any other culture. To love one's actual enemy and neighbor are commands of Jesus to His true disciples -and He made it clear it isn't easy but He would never call us to do something and not give us the ability to live it out.
Never forget that!
Jesus taught that our lives do not consist in the things we possess -but in God, in Jesus, in the Holy Spirit -and the Triune God is NOT for sale.
So regardless what you think about myself or all I've written here, know that God's directives to His people in His Word (Bible) and His deep love are THE driving force in my life. I write this post for the sake of moving minds to think and not merely float along with a stream so polluted by sinful human nature. It is the nature of God we are most in need of!
As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn
