Raining Today in Chicago -glenn kaiser

It's raining today in Chicago

The garden is happy as geese

Tulips and daffodils rising

Collecting with pleasure release

Clouds bringing life-giving graces

While traffic moves slower today

Crossing guards, children and splashes

Spring -coming Summer to play

Raining behind bars and bed-sheets

Even when sun shines outside

Fears, worries and heartbreak

Stagnant oceans sans tide

Oh how I love these dewdrops

As the Gardener renews the earth

Bringing life, growth, sustenance

And the ongoing cycle of birth

May we steward His tears in response

To help and not harm one another

Learning to drive with more mindful care

Blessing our sisters and brothers
