Pour Love and Grace!

A prayer: Pour Your love and grace Lord- through me!

I fail plenty... I mean a -lot-. It would take a large book to list all my mess ups! And yet the title of this post is what I often fall back into as I reach out and up to Jesus. If HE isn't the source of love and grace... well, my love and grace is quite limited but His is UNlimited!

Of course first one must in faith and the risk of trust believe God loves and not only offers but supplies grace to we who seek Him in Christ. "The Spirit of grace" imparts God's love and grace to us. It's then our responsibility to share it, pass it on, "by love, serve one another", "especially those of the household of faith" but yet beyond, to ALL for whom Jesus poured out His blood (and "all" is what Hebrews, etc. clearly states).

Not all will be saved. I'd love to believe otherwise but am convinced after thorough study of God's Word over decades that will tragically not be the case- but it is on me and you my fellow professing Christ-follower, to treat people with the very love and compassion, yes, un-merited, UNearned favor with which He treats us daily.

We cannot sow what He has sown in us by ignoring the needs, pains and fears of those around us, whether in the churches or in the streets of this fallen world. And yet it's not our intelligence, personal confidence or skills- not even legit spiritual gifts God has given but the very love and grace of God enabling us to employ them for other's benefit where people can encounter (get this...) not only us... whew... but the Lord Jesus active through us by His Spirit reaching out in grace toward and for -them-.

May it be so! May the Lord work to change the motives and direction of our heart if this is not why we walk the earth. ALL glory to God for His incredible loving grace -and His call for us to share it!
