Poetry of Reconciliation

Though we were truly poets we may as of yet not know it.
Reconciliation is lifeblood to a reconciler while some will... and some will not.
All are discoverers and it's not unusual to share what and who we've discovered.
Plenty of writers mention "dance" as part of a courtship, that is, God seeking us to come home to Him, to belong to the eternal family, together, no more alone or lusting after other "gods" be they human or something we fashion -or merely imagine in our minds being the fantasy-myths they so often really are.
So when the Spirit sends someone to try and engage in the work of assisting someone else to reconcile with God the task can be like poetry itself: at times more art than rational sense, though fact -yet loaded with feelings. Plenty of people reject, ignore, even disdain poetry while others love it as a daily bread.
Ah it's a noble task and yes, even an essential one:
Paul, writing to the super-blessed and gifted yet massively immature and self-focused church in Corinth:
2 Corinthians 5
17 So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.
18 And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
21 For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin,n so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
I love God and the call of God Who Himself calls directly and in other ways including through His people to His people and His -potential- people! May we love others by accepting the risks, rejections as well as blessed, fruitful receptivity to the only Savior there is, has been or ever shall be: The Lord Jesus Christ!
The dance is daunting, at times the poetry is thick, ignored, considered irrelevant and useless -but the rewards are eternal for those sent and those who join Him!
As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn
