MLK Day - 2024

What a gifted, rather Moses-like figure in a world of injustices where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s words still apply!

As flawed as we all are yet called, gifted, a student, prophet and finally martyr for a real and needed justice over racism and inequality -what can I add to the volumes of eloquent writings by and about him?

Martin was a Christian minister who preached and lived these teachings laced with willful application via non-violence. The white status quo then and now is challenged by Him to face the facts of needed repentance and change. He himself was repeatedly challenged to discard bitterness and unforgiveness toward his persecutors. He is someone to be remembered, studied and imitated. This is the call to all who say they care about all I've mentioned here.

I'll finish with a quote long attached to my emails. As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn

"Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
