KING ME! -glenn kaiser

(written November, 2021)

"King me!" He said

Lying on his bed

The world must revolve around you-know-who

"Queen me!" She cried

"It's all cut and dried."

Clothe me in silks, royal blue

"We are RIGHT all the time!"

They said, self-sublime

Only drinking from their own still's brew

"I AM" said He

"All will bow: every knee"

With glory, love and sorrow
