God Smiles at US?!

Don't you think (and you may not think this...) that God loves, even revels in our true and innocent joys?

There IS sin and what it is -is not fully mystery if one reads and recognizes the truths in God's Word (Bible) but of course even professing Christians are slack in such study and belief at times, no?

Indeed He loves US, not our sins! And yet there is as I say, innocent, simple, honest and just, real joy, a solid though at times light happiness in everyday simple pleasures. It is sadly too often we do not give thanks and praise, prayerful credit to the One due it for bringing and allowing such joy in our lives.

But as I say, I'm convinced not only does He take pleasure in our right, righteous pleasures but He truly and actually LOVES -US-.

Being aware of our sinful nature and ongoing need of repentance (changing of our mind,

thought-patterns, choices and behaviors that are against His will re. His Word and desires) is always a need for each of us.

An equal need is for us to think true thoughts about His love, daily graces, sweet though often simple and compassionate ways He regularly sprinkles and sometimes showers us with pleasures of our very senses beyond what we may at other times experience. Awareness of Him and these blessings are super important in a broken, uncertain, often cruel world of people who do not seek Him, His ways or His commands to love one another.

I honestly believe there are times we make God Himself smile, yes blessed that He created us.

Please consider these matters- and as always, thanks for stopping by! -Glenn

Faith -that- Works?

Yep. Years ago we had a kitchen plaque that said "Not faith or works, not faith and works- but faith that works". Yup. And the only way it does in the will of God is... "by love" and that meaning HIS

Faith and Faithfulness...

See, they ain't the exact same. Faith is often discussed as in she or he "is a person of faith" and that's cool, but the practical way of actually seeing such in a person's life is by their faithfulne
