God Pursues US?

Old writers and preachers used the phrase speaking of God the Holy Spirit as "the Hound of heaven". The brilliant A.W. Tozer wrote "The Pursuit of God" and in the more recent past we have titles like "Experiencing God" so of course these on top of a stack of other writings, historically ancient and new including the Bible and more the issue of both our pursuit of Him and His love-based pursuit of us has been covered in depth.

Yet- have you ever wondered if He cares enough to actually and continually (regardless of your spiritual state in or not in a relationship with Jesus) pursue -you-?

A wonderful and fairly thorough answer is found here: https://www.gotquestions.org/does-God-pursue-us.html

To me personally this is one of the most amazing, remarkable and at times shocking truths about our Father God! Why do I say so? Because I know how thick, stubborn, self-centered and sinful I can still be even after most of a lifetime of walking with Jesus.

Trust in His pursuing love and indeed, His pursuit of me is an incredible, deep and assuring thing I'm convinced we all need. It is one of the ways the "God-shaped hole" inside of us can and must be filled if we are ever to find our way and true peace while walking in a broken, often very cruel world.

May you trust Him in this matter -and likewise, pursue HIM in response!

And as always, thanks for stopping by :) -Glenn
