"Few There Be That Find It"?!

Most nights prior to sleeping or as I wake up in the middle of the night I reach for a small, old tablet and study an issue that is on my mind, often spiritual things.

Some nights ago my thoughts led to Jesus' words "few there be who find it" regarding the "narrow gate" so I had a long read about the matters involved.

The key verses are Matthew 7.13,14 which are best read in context of the whole chapter and even from the beginning of Jesus' discourse which includes Mt. chapters 5, 6 and 7.

The link below goes to a somewhat long read of several responses to this but what leapt out at me was the careful, thorough piece at the end of the thread a bro. named "Steve" wrote. I think it was the best and most solid and accurate of them all though all the responses brought quite good light re. the question.

If you scroll down to it that last response begins with "To understand why few people find it, it's important to define the narrow way and why it is narrow."

As always, thanks for stopping by. -Glenn
