Don't LIKE It!

Yep, plenty of issues to say that, right?! So cannot the only, the perfect, the absolute God Himself not say the same? And what if He does?

Did Jesus love people? YEEEEEESSSSSSSS! And He DOES, each moment right here and now. Does Jesus like everything everyone of us thinks, says, does, refuses to do? Uhhhh... I think we each need to think honestly about this.

When God in His Word defines the image of God in us we see elements of our true childhood- and that of God the Son- Christ Jesus. Many of us agree with Pilate on one point: "I find no fault in Him".

I'm recalling our kids when little, one of which would sometimes say "Donna like it, donna want it!" Yup.

We, not only live out of our own image of God (imago dei) given to each of us by Him, we also sin. When God defines wrongdoing in His Word we often don't like it.

Those who live for God learn to care more about HIS likes than our own.

That growing up, such spiritual maturity is part of the journey of we who profess to love God and neighbor.

God help us and have mercy that we might be teachable, learn and bless Him above all.

As always, thanks for stopping by! -Glenn
