Design Flaws?

I've been creating, making, building all sorts of things for many years -and have been humbled countless times by my own ignorance and what is often referred to as "design flaws" in what I've made.

Nothing new about that as one can read from time to time about yet another building falling due to structural issues and very often sourced by architectural design blunders.

Such not only causes building damage but often also affecting adjacent houses, etc., and of course human casualties and even death.

It's no wonder Jesus talked about a house being built upon rock versus sand for a foundation -because storms, floods and of course things like wildfires and earthquakes aren't always considered when building.

All we humans are quite obviously imperfect, flawed -and there's only One Who isn't, THE Designer Who never makes a mistake and Who designs with knowledge and wisdom -far- beyond our own.

There have been and always will be judgments made upon God and what He either orchestrates or allows in our world but in the end I'd say trusting His work verses our own is the most worthy bet, risk and approach to here and eternity.

In fact I'm staking my very life on it.

Why?

I've had to face human design flaws in my personal life as well as the vast study of history over the centuries and I still cannot come away with anything but awe at His work in honest comparison. What's underneath it all? His plans (superior to ours to the infinite) and His provision (without which nobody survives much less flourishes) and His character/personality traits (all springing from His love for us) are so much better than our own for one another -or even ourselves!

The One and Only God, THE Celestial Designer is as was said about Jesus: "He does all things well".

As stuff you create sometimes falls apart or is only worthy of the trash bin, remember to worship and value the only One Whose works are done perfectly and in love regardless of our ignorance about them.

Note, I didn't say in all this that we always LIKE or AGREE with Him and His designs... but what earthly clay knows better than the potter?

As always, thanks for stopping by! -Glenn
